Future in Crisis - Independent Counterterrorist Phase Three

It???s a whole new ballgame???    On Tuesday, November 4th, 2008, America elected a new president to guide its future. Regardless of how you voted or how you view the results of this election, the future has been handed down to us and it is our responsibility to ensure that subsequent generations are afforded this same opportunity and that our Constitution is protected at all costs.

    Because our new president brings to the table very little practical experience, our terrorist enemies will undoubtedly use this transition period to gauge our country???s resolve and capabilities during this vulnerable period. Just like Presidents Clinton and Bush, President Barack Obama may see an attack unleashed upon us to test his mettle. The difference being this time, of course, there is no longer a World Trade Center to attack.

    Most of you already know my stance on the issue; that we cannot rely upon our brave men and women in uniform to protect us. Now, we face a period hampered by liberal politics. That is, while our lives may be placed into greater danger, we may find ourselves battling an administration hostile to citizens protecting themselves.

    Already forces are at work to restrict our access to guns and to make self-protection a crime. Regardless, I believe that competent heads will prevail, and that our Constitutional right to own and possess firearms (of all types and within all locations) will continue to be enforced. For this reason, and the threats licking at our doors, I have decided to restart The Independent Counterterrorist training modules.

    Unlike before, however, I will not burden the reader with excessive attachments that may inhibit downloading. Instead, I have uploaded all necessary documents to my Website at http://downloads.rjgodlewski.com. Here, you will find a breadth of data, which may come in handy.

    During each cycle, I will recommend which manuals, reports, or documents that you should read. Please feel free to look the others over, for each contains valuable information, and download those, which you find of interest.

    We have been safe for many years; we cannot, however, trust that we will not be attacked for another seven, ten, or twenty years into the future. If you knew that an attack was coming, when would you want to be prepared?

    The Global War On Terror is not over, by any stretch of the imagination. Indeed, it may have only just begun.     In October, the U.S. Army released its new Stability Operations Field Manual. Largely ignored by the election-frenzied media, FM 3-07 details what the future of our military is likely to be. That is, serving as a stabilizing force around the world.

    We may question Afghanistan and cry foul over Iraq, but the undeniable fact remains that our military will serve similar roles in Africa, Latin America, and Asia during the course of the future.

    It therefore behooves you to download this manual and read about what entails ???Stability Operations.???
